Inspired by the world-renowned series, Shark Tank, our founders created a one of a kind pitch contest for young entrepreneurs in the Chicagoland area to show off their product ideas in front of a panel of judges and compete for funding for their projects!
Fish Tank 2024 was a massive success with over 50 teams competing with product ideas ranging from dog treats to a calendar app!
Fish Tank 2024 Winners
With a creative and already sucessful product, Garret's Gourmet Dog Treats, stood atop the rest of the Fish Tank competition as the best pitch! His creative solution to a pet problem all over the world helped him seal the deal as Fish Tank's first champion.
1st: Garret Hauk
Sara’s Cuisinify app impressed with its creative solution to everyday cooking challenges. By using AI and augmented reality, Cuisinify helps users find recipes based on what’s in their pantry and offers ingredient substitutions for those with dietary restrictions. This smart and user-friendly app aims to revolutionize home cooking, giving it a podium spot in the competition!

2nd: Taksh Taware & Rohan Patwardhan

Taksh and Rohan’s Chit Chat Lingo stood out with its unique spin on language learning, blending English lessons with American culture. Their AI-powered app helps users confidently navigate real-world conversations, earning them a well-deserved second place!

Mirav and Mishi’s EcoVision turned heads with their groundbreaking solution to a global waste problem. By transforming corn waste into eco-friendly materials like yarn, paper, and foam, their innovative process tackles pollution while offering sustainable alternatives to everyday products. Their passion for a cleaner planet earned them a well-deserved spot in the competition’s top ranks!
